Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri is an Indian actress who achieved fame for her role in Hum Aapke Hain Koun as well as Beta Saajan. The actress began her career in the late 1980s, and rose to prominence with her performance in Tezaab, a film where she starred with veteran actor Anil Kapoor. Her next role was in Dil where she was on screen with Aamir. Her birthplace was in a Mumbai middle class family and began to dance at a young age. While still a teenager she attempted acting, however most films she attempted to make did not succeed. Eventually, she found success in Indian film and climbed to the top. After her marriage, she took an interruption in her professional career. Later, she returned. In recent times, she was a key player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was awarded fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which eight she won. Padma Shri - the fourth highest civilian honor in India - was given to Dixit. The award was also given to her for her efforts in the social sector.
